Miracles could
not happen because they violate the laws of nature? C.S. Lewis gave an
illustration like this, supposed you have $200 and you put them under your
pillow. The next day, you have another $200 and you want to put them again
under your pillow. But to your surprise, there are only $100 left in there.
Will you say that the laws of mathematics have been broken? No, the laws of
land have been broken. The fact that miracles violate the laws of nature doesn’t
mean miracles could not happen. In fact, the laws of nature help us to
recognize something as miracle.
